The Donated Goods Program supports Goodwill's mission by providing a training ground for individuals who may not be able to obtain employment otherwise.   The proceeds from sales of donated goods provide a paycheck for these workers.

Donations are collected through the retail stores, in-home pickups, the attended donation centers, and annual collection drives.   85% of our revenues are funneled directly back into employment and training programs for our clients, unlike some other organizations that solicit donations in the name of a charity.   As little as 5% of the money generated from those donations may actually go to the charity they represent.   Goodwill ranks among top charities that make your donation go further.
